FIRE and ADR courses sucessfuly done; RBI course divided in 4a and 4b |
 |
ESPRiT courses FIRE (#8) and ADR (#11) have been sucessfuly done; RBI course would be provided as #4a and #4b
In the second week of March, ESPRiT program moved to Belgrade, to the Faculty of Security Studies, where Mr. D.Oberhagemann, Mr. I.Crvenica and Mr. K.Scheuermann presented issues considering fire protection, during the period March 09-13, 2009. Those attendies who were present, and we are talking about approximately 40 interested ones, resisted the crowded classroom and carefully followed the course.
Mr. J. Freek have had the oportunity to present ADR topics on March 16-20, 2009, at the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Pančevo, where again nearly 30 participants attended every session.
Course #4, previosly planned to be held at Electric Power Industry of Serbia building in Belgrade for all those interested in that topic, is announced to be specified for both, power and chemical/petrochemical industries. Therefore, the first round of course #4b, named RBI POWER Risk Based Inspection - Power Industries is going on during the period March 23-27, 2009, however, course #4a, named RBI PETROL Risk Based Inspection, specified for petrochemical/chemical maintainence personell, accompanied with process ingeneers and HSE stuff, would take place in June. Both courses are held by Mr. D.Balos, who is skilled to involve his attendees into expert discussions, which would make every different point of view quite clear. |

 |
PETROL and REACH ESPRiT courses held at two locations in Pančevo
During the last week in February 23-27, 2009, ESPRiT Course #2 took place at the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Pančevo.
Over 70 participants applied for the course, but due to the fact that premises of the Chamber, in spite of hospitality, were too small to receive all of them, only nearly 40 have had the privilege to attend interesting and inspired presentation of Mr. G.Uguccioni. Participants, comming from different companies, but mostly from the Petroleum Industry of Serbia, recognized course named PETROL - Risk Analysis in Chemical/Petrochemical Industries as focused to their business area.
Period March 2-6, 2009, would be remembered as the "REACH week" in Oil Refinery Pančevo, where more than 60 participannts, leaded by Mr. J. Freek, tried and suceeded to go through the dense forest of paragraphs of that very new EU regulative. |

ESPRiT Course # 3, POWER - Risk Analysis in Power Industries, training within ESPRiT program of education, was held at the Thermal Power plant TENT "B" in Obrenovac, during the third week of February 17-20, 2009.
More than 40 participants, mostly from the different plants and departmants of EPS - Electric Power Industry of Serbia, gathered together with several emploies of NIS - Petroleum Industry of Serbia to participate this event. Discusions, which were focused on the topics considering Risk Management approach in Power industries, were very interesting, trying to clarify some practical aspects of this theme and to get right solutions for day-after-day problems.
Due to the snowstorm outside the walls of the TENT "B", it was realy a miracle having all of these people so deeply involved, but four lecturers, Mr. A.Jovanovic, Mr. J.Bareiss, Mr. P.Auerkari and Mr. D.Balos gave their best to convince participants that they made the right choice being there. |
