On-the-job-training abroad - SHORT
 
 

Scope

Based on the Article 1.5.f and Annex 2 of the Main Contract of the ESPRiT project, (tentatively) 40 persons from Serbian companies are entitled to participate in the short-stay based part of the on-the-job training. This one-week-long training combines visits to German (and other) companies accompanied by lecturing.

Target participants

  • Participants of ESPRiT courses
  • Applied participants of ESPRiT "Train the trainer scheme"
  • Representatives of the supporting organizations from Serbia (having signed contracts with ESPRiT)

 

NOTE: Generally, the places are to be assigned on the first-applied-first-reserved basis. Exception are 5 pre-reserved places for the trainers and 3 pre-reserved places for the supporting organizations, which will be kept pre-booked until September 1, 2009.

Costs

  • Travel costs (fares, accommodations) for the participants are covered by the participants, paid directly to the travel organizer

  • Travel cost is
    • 460 €/participant, calculation based on 40 participants
    • 490 €/participant, calculation based on 35 participants.

  • The travel cost includes
    • travel by bus
    • hotel accommodation (with breakfast) in Berlin (2 nights), Leverkusen (1 night), Stuttgart (3 nights)
This cost is not covered by the project (i.e. either the participants or their companies are supposed to take care of this cost).

 

  • Organization of the visits to the industry and other partners abroad is in charge of Steinbeis.

Note: If less then 30 participants, the visit will be canceled.

German Visa

  • After payment, invitation letters for participants for the purpose of German visa will be provided by Steinbeis and special terms in German consular section arranged for
    • September 1, 2009at 13:30 for 15 persons and September 2, 2009 at 13:30 for 10 persons (ytbc)

Deadlines

  • June 30, 2009: Deadline for web-based application (PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO THE APPLICATION FORM!)
  • July 5, 2009: Travel cost preliminary defined
  • July 25, 2009: Final application for travel (by email to esprit@risk-technologies.com) and for payment (the order of application/payment will decide on the assignment of places, participation in the ESPRiT courses is a pre-condition)
  • August 3, 2009: Final confirmation of the participation and invitation letters for participants issuance
  • beginning of September 2009: (the date yet to be confirmed) Briefing meeting of the participants in Belgrade or Novi Sad
